I am thinking about integrating Geeklog with a credit card payment (subscription) system. There has been at least one duscussion on the subject. The question is: is it possible to subscribe a user to a partocular group with single command (url)?. Like: http://www.geeklog.net/membership.php?group="product1" &user="
current"?password="9800877"

Geeklog security group structure makes is ideal for subscriptions and products. Say, you bought a piece of software and got subscribed automatically to "product A" group where you can receive support, product upgrades etc. The question is to automate the process.

Based on previous discussion, the only solution is to go "outside of Geeklog" and provide access to some .htaccess protected directory. Then membership is maintained at credit card provider. It would be nice to utilize Geeklog potential in this respect. Any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance!
