Events Question

I have specific events that are night time events, i.e. parties that run from 10pm to 1am the next morning. The problem is that when I enter this into GL, this shows as taking 2 days in the calendar. Is there a way to show this as a single day in the calendar? I am not adverse to making PHP modications, but would appreciate some pointers as to what files to edit. I am thinking of a possible workaround as modifying the AllDay checkbox to say "Evening Event", and then including the actual times in the event description, although I would rather have them appear normally. Any other ideas as how to achieve this type of functionality would be appreciated, as I'm not sure the approach I've described above is the best way to go about doing this. (Also Id rather not have to do custom modifications due to upgrading hassles later. If the only way to do this is to customize then I guess I'll head down that path) Thanks

I ended up using the Allday field and modifying the language to say Evening in the language file. So no further customizations were necessary.
