turning Blocks back on

Anonymous
I accidentaly turned off access to some major parts of Geeklog in an attempt to understand permissions (like Blocks and Stories in the Menu Block Plugin. ) I know it was stupid but the Menu block plugin seems to handle permissions differently than the rest of Geeklog?! maybe it is just me Now I am not able to get to the heart of my admin. Is there a way to manually turn these back on in the PHP code? where would I find the settings that would need to be changed? thanks in advance chase

Why not go to http://yoursite/admin/blocks.php directly and turn the missing blocks back on? Or did I misunderstand your problem? bye, Dirk

yeah I realized right after I posted that I could simply open the blocks.php and turn what I needed back on. I guess this will work for just about any page and it will throw up a login and password if you are not logged in correct? I didn't think the problem through enough before I started looking for help. I do appreciate your response though. Chase

Of course you can only access the admin pages while being logged in as an Admin. That would be really bad security otherwise ... bye, Dirk
