I just recently installed GL and when i attempt to submit something to my own site i get the following error: Specified upload directory, /home/server1/public_html/16/bigcountry//public_htmlimages/articles is not a valid directory File Upload Errors: is there a way to fix this error... what have i done wrong? i checked my permissions and they are set correctly.

Well, that path is obviously wrong - there's an extra slash before the "public_html" and it's missing a slash between "public_html" and "images". Your paths in config.php should probably look something like $_CONF['path'] = '/home/server1/public_html/16/bigcountry/'; $_CONF['path_html'] = $_CONF['path'] . 'public_html/'; Also, make sure the images/articles directory exists (since that is an empty directory in the tarball and is sometimes lost during unpacking and/or upload). bye, Dirk
