Not sure what happened. I edited a static page, then tried to save it and got the following error: Warning: eregi_replace(): REG_EPAREN: in c:inetpubwwwrootlib-common.php on line 2599 I now cannot add a new static page. i can delete them fine. Anyone have a clue? (I'll just go to a backup if this is a major problem. But I am very curious as to what caused the problem in the first place)

I've never seen this before but it seems to come from the "bad word filter". Try switching off the censoring for static pages ($_SP_CONF['censor'] = 0; in plugins/staticpages/config.php) or for the entire site ($_CONF['censormode'] = 0; in config.php). Btw, the eregi_replace() call is in line 2625 in Geeklog 1.3.7sr2 - I do hope you're not running an older version ... bye, Dirk

Nope. Not an older version. (I hope everything is okay here. It checks out when I run the version test). I have not checked it yet, but I am certain the problem has to do with the censoring function. I had earlier in the day made changes to the main config.php file, to add a few more words. I must have made some sort of an error. Thanks quite a lot.

Yup. That worked fine. I cannot thank you enough. I have added very many extra comments to my lib-common (to remind me of what is going on in the code. I am using GeekLog to learn PHP). That is likely why the error was reported on another line. Will review to make sure... Thanks again.

Oh. Dear me. No problem. Just checked. I have multiple versions of lib-common. The version I used had all comments removed and a few hacks added (as an experiment). I've just added the original lib-common. Obviously I am not working on a live site.
