Okay, what is wrong with this picture? I have all permissions set according to specs. But I still get this error message on home page and other story places. Please check that you have set the logs directory and the files error.log and access.log in that directory to chmod 775. Could not open the RDF file /home/virtual/site66/fst/var/www/html/public_html/backend/geeklog.rdf for writing. Please check that you have set both the backend directory and the geeklog.rdf file in that directory to chmod 775. Current permissions for backend: 775 Current permissions for geeklog.rdf: 775 User photos are disabled - userphotos directory not tested. As it says in the installation instructions: If 775 doesn't work for you, try 777.

I had the same problem and I did what Dirk said and it works. I also had a problem with the MySql Username and Password in config.php, I had to put the Root U&P for the first install and then change it. I hope this help bye
