What is required to have links from RSS feeds open in a separate browser instance? I don't want users to leave my site... I already tried stuff here http://www.geeklog.net/article.php?story=20020718123307605 But it seems Geeklog has changed since that post was made.

The code you need to change is now in function COM_rdfEndElement(). And I still think it's not a nice thing to do to your visitors ... bye, Dirk

Not a nice thing? I wanted to do it to actually make it easier for my visitors. With the change, they merely need close the new window and they are still on my page (where the other links are). Perhaps I am being shortsighted. Can you tell me why this is not nice?

The majority of people like to retain complete control of their browsers. They don't like sites which resize them and or serve pop ups. Many like me have resorted to using software to totally block pop ups because of the huge mountain of annoying ads. Depending on the blocker used, there's a good chance your links won't even open up on some people's computers.

I did a search on this site to read about this issue. I saw dirk's comments. They make quite a lot of sense. Better to keep things as simple and uncluttered as possible. So I'll leave things as is... Thanks!
