Preventing Geeklog search From Searching Certain Static Pages

Is there anyway to prevent the built in site search, from searching certain static pages. Thanks in advance for your help.

Not with Static Pages 1.1. You'll either have to install Static Pages 1.2 or wait for Geeklog 1.3.8 (which includes Static Pages 1.3).
Both 1.2 and 1.3 support permissions (just like in stories, etc.), so you can set the permissions such that only certain users can see (and thus search) these static pages.
bye, Dirk

Thanks a lot fro the idea, but it isn't quite what i want. I use certain
static pages as custom error pages, so I want everybody to be able
to see them when necessary, but i don't want them to clutter up
search results. Is there anyway to just prevent the Search function
from searching static pages at all since I don't really use them for
much else.

I see. If you simply remove (or rename or comment out) the two functions plugin_searchtypes_staticpages() and plugin_dopluginsearch_staticpages() from the static pages' functions.inc file, then static pages won't be searched any more.
bye, Dirk
