Hey all. I'm wondering how I would go about giving users access to the edit menu when they submit (so that submissions go live right away, and more HTML commands and image access is given), but leave them without the ability to edit other users posts? I've tried creating a group with story.edit, that will get them as far as the edit menu (story.php?mode=edit). From there they can write up a story, preview it, but when they try to post they are redirected somewhere that denies them access. The other problem with this is that they are forced to give edit access to their stories to either their group, logged-in users, or all users. Any ideas on how I can work around this? I've looked through story.php, but my skills are somewhat limited.. can't see any obvious course of action. Thanks.

That's not really supported in Geeklog right now. It should be possible, but requires a lot of discipline by the users in that they need to set the permissions properly on each new story they create ... bye, Dirk
