I am moving to a new host and backed up my DB with Geeklog, however when I try to insert the SQL file into the new DB, I get this: You have an error in your SQL syntax near '--------------------------------------------------------- -- -- CREATE TABLE gl' at line 2 I know it's simple but need some help fixing it please. Thanks. John

How are you trying to restore the backup? mysql -uusername -p -D database < backup.sql works for me ... bye, Dirk
