In case anyone is wondering what happened to Squatty.com... To put it bluntly, VeriSign made a HUGE ASS mistake. Due to an error in their records, the domain name squatty.com was deleted! The way they've explained it is that squatty.com is no longer a valid domain and all existence of it has disappeared...yet it's still owned by me. Please bear with me a few more days while I straighten this mess out. Squatty.com is NOT going away...I'll be back up as soon as VeriSign gets their act together! In somewhat related news, I just bought the domain Squatty.tv. Now I have a failover domain ;-) I wanted Squatty.net but some porn site already owned it...hey maybe I should host a porn site too?

You have my sympathy Danny - I just moved our three .orgs away from them as over the past 8 years the service has been not very good. Hope all goes right and quickly. Wayne

To put it bluntly Verisign sucks. I wanted a domain name that had expired three months earlier, and they wouldn't free it up for ANOTHER four months. They never gave me a reason why they held on to it so long. It appears to be a common practice of theirs to horde expired domains. It doesn't surprise me that they're treating you this way. I've talked to a few of their customer service reps on the phone, and they're braindead. I use Go Daddy.com. They are great. Their rates are cheaper, and they protect their customers. They even went after Verisign for sending out renewel notices to Go Daddy customers trying to redirect them over to their site. You can always go with a .us extension too if it isn't taken. Good luck dealing with them.

Great! You can't beat their special on .us domain names right now. If you can get your .com one back, I think you should seriously think about moving away from Verisign. Why pay so much more per year for the same domain name, and they don't even give good service? It's only $7.75 to transfer and that includes a one year extension on your registration. I've been with GoDaddy for a year and never had any problems with them. They notify you 90, 60, and 30 days out when your domain is going to expire to give you plenty of time to renew. They periodically have these great offers. I hope you saw their link to prepare taxes online for free.

porn site? there really are a few porn sites running GL as they have posted their site here and some i found out while surfing...*oops*! <br> but porn site are the real earning companies on the Net!
