Geeklog Forums

I am pleased to announce that my site is now fully operational with Geeklog and phplinks integrated (integration courtesy of intructions and hack on http://www.squatty.com). Check it out at http://www.worldofevents.net -I am also using the same format for my other sites (currently tranfering content from the old flat html site - should be up and running shortly). These are running but not launched - I am running five sites using the GL software - off one set of back end scripts in the Geeklog folder (set up five databases, five config.php files amended accordingly, five lib-common.php's and associated files in separate folders, and five versions of the theme running to allow change in logos, headers etc). I am sure I could have done it with less duplication but this would have meant more faffing about changing routes in different files and I am in the fortunate position of having enough webspace at the moment! Thanks to all developers - an excellent piece of software with a great support network. Even as a novice I have managed to install and implement hacks etc as they come up - very reassuring (particularly with your clear instructions). In the past couple of weeks, I have learned more about coding than I had in the previous four years with my old site. Thank you all once again. Kind regards Glenn
