Geeklog Forums

I've launched a new geeklog site called "Lazycoder" at http://www.lazycoder.com. It has articles on programming in many different languages and more will be added as time goes on.

I ended up selecting Geeklog as the CMS for the site due to the ease of install and the fact that the code isn't a complete mess as is the case with a couple of other CMS systems I looked at. I also liked the developer community and the plugin API. I know a lot of people have complained about it, but it's a LOT better than some of them out there.

I'm hoping to modify it a bit to allow syndicated info to be listed on the main page as stories or perhaps even posted to the database as stories automagically. I'm also going to try and create some kind of banner management plugin or option since I plan to run ad banners eventually. Right now the site is just for fun and education.

I'm running the RC1 release of the forum plugin successfully and I hope to clean up some of the mouseover problems in the near future. If I do before I see anything posted here, I'll be sure to let the forum dev team know about it and maybe get the changes incorporated.
