Hi guys. Im new to GL, and am loving what I see so far . I have used Nuke, and postNuke, on some other sites, but I like the speed, and lack of extra filler HTML in GL built pages. On one of my sites (tampabayflavor.com), I would love to provide a registered user based star rating system (with comments) for bands, restaurants, and bars, (restaurants needing ratings for food, atmosphere, and overall, etc)and have found nothing that fits my needs. So, I guess before I break out the PHP books, and begin attemping to code this.. Is there anything that anyone is aware of that has already been done? I am fairly efficient at hacking modules and plug ins to fit my needs, but normally dont go from scratch. Thanks, in advance. - Qreatin

This has been discussed before (see here and here for example, or search for "rating"). But AFAIK, there's no plugin or hack for this.

Thanks, - I had read both those articles after I posted, and I have an idea to make it feasible, and yet have the ability to limit spam ratings. I've already started a SQL table system layout, showing the hooks and relationships. I guess it's off to the drawing board, and lots of experimentation. <BR>- Qreatin---Evolve or Dissolve . . .
