Hey folks, I finally upgraded a GL 1.3.6 installation to 1.3.7sr2. The site had the Gallery hack and since the upgrade the Gallery permissions are all messed up. Many albums I no longer seem to have admin privs to. I can't figure it out. I went into /path/to/geeklog/public_html/gallery and grepped for 'geeklog' and the only file is config.php. Made the appropriate changes in there in several places. Still no luck. Any hints? I'd bite the bullet and convert to Geekary but there are a lot of photos in this site. This is really confounding me! cheers, -Alan

hmm, strange, 1.3.7sr2 should still be compatible with gallery 1.3.3 (when I upgraded to 1.3.7, gallery still worked fine). If you upgraded to gallery 1.3.4, then that\'s the problem. Get the Geeklog 1.3.7sr2 - Gallery 1.3.4 Integration from squatty\'s Or else revert to gallery 1.3.3?

I think my Gallery is 1.3.1. Another factor is that my /path/to/geeklog has changed because of a new naming convention I am using. But like I said I went into gallery\'s config.php and updated that in several places so that should be it. This is very strange, and very frustrating!

Are you getting any errors when you view your gallery? Remember that the $GEEKLOG_DIR in gallery's config.php should point to the same value as $_CONF['public_html'] (where ever lib-common.php is located).

If all else fails. Redo the integration. This may be your best bet since you redid your directory structure. Also, you should upgrade your gallery to at least 1.3.3. I know that several exploitable security holes have been found in gallery 1.3.1 and 1.3.2.
