Whats the plan on getting this cache issue resloved? I have a lot of users on my geeklog site (some on AOL, some not) that login but instead of seeing the logged in user functions, they still see the login. Because of this, they cant post on the forum either. Is there a way to fix this that I dont know about? I tried changing the page names. For example, when logging in the user is redirected to /index.php?1234567=10394875 instead of just index.php (those numbers in that page a randomly generated and are different everytime) This has helped some of my users but only a few... Im sure it is header.thml that is getting cached. Some of them can get on after refreshing several times, but for the most part they are all still having problems. Can someone help me?

Yes, I have. My users can eventually get it to work by using those suggestions but it usually takes them some time. I was just wondering if there would ever be a way to solve the problem completely. Not many of my users are very knowledgable about their computers and I get bombarded with emails from people who either havent read my posted faqs or they have tried them and they dont work. It sucks that they have to go through all that... I know it makes my organization look a little unprofessional, and thats no good.

One of the suggestions on that list was to insert headers in your header.thml page to tell the browser not cache pages. Why don\'t you try that one. It works on IE browsers. See if it works on AOL ones too. It requires no user intervention on their part to test it out.
