Hi.
I have set up a Geeklog site and it´s working great.
I have only one small problem.
In the events_block for upcoming events the spelling of Sunday in Swedish, Söndag shows up as \"söndag\". If I change the coding in the web browser to Unicode (UTF-8) this shows up right but å,ä and ö look wrong in every other place.
Look here
Any help would be nice.
Thanks
L-G

Hmm, the character set specified in the Swedish language file is
$LANG_CHARSET = \"iso-8859-1\";
According to this list, this is correct, so it should be displaying correctly.
You may want to talk to the person who made the Swedish translation (Markus Berg) about this. You\'ll find his email address at the top of the language file.
bye, Dirk

I think the calendar relies on the locale settings while the events block pulls the names of the days from the language file. Or something like that ...
Hmm, I\'ll write myself a feature request to clean that stuff up a bit

I have made some research.
When I look at the results from info.php i found out that the
Enviroment variable LANG = sv_SE.UTF-8
PHP Variable _ENV["LANG"] = sv_SE.UTF-8
Mabye thats why I get the odd spelling.

It´s working now. The ISP changed to ISO-8859-1 on the web server.
