How is the value of $lib being passed to visit.php?

BLAST! I meant to ask how is the value of $lid being passed to visit.php. Thanks!

Thanks, and sorry if that was a dumb question. Don\'t really know PHP. I am experimenting with making a hack that will allow specific files to be downloaded only if a user is in a certain group. I put a field in the filemgt_detail (sp?) table to assist here. Since the field is read quite early (right along with lid), I thought its contents would be available to vistor.php because the contents of $lid are available. I was wrong, but now I think I see the problem. There is a place where you are getting lid using http_get_vars, which you also make a global. I think that is why lid is available to visitor.php.
