Have I missed a setting somewhere? It seems when my GL sends an email to the admin email address it never arrives. I notices this when I installed the suggestion block. When I enter a suggestion to test it out, I get the message sent notice but nothing ever arrives. I then went on to try the contacts link at the top. Again I get a message sent but nothing arrives to the site admin email address. I also went onto the Mail Users section under the admin only block which has an (N/A) next to it. I tried sending an email out to my story admin users and again nothing arrives. All 3 attempts gave me a successful message but it seems like nothing is going out. The new user registration seems fine. Users are getting emailed their account password; just email to site admin is not going out. Any help?

In the admin profile, what is the admins email address? Also what is your $_CONF[\'site_mail\'] , in config.php?

Text Formatted Code
// This is the return address for all email sent by Geeklog:

$_CONF['site_mail']         = 'username@mysite.com';
also the email address for the admin profile is the same address as listed above.

On top of this still unanswered question I have now found out that my site is not emailing my users their password. It gives a successfully sent message but just like the other problems, nothing ever arrives. Please Please Please. Anyone have an idea?

Actually, if you do a search here you\'ll see this question has been asked and answered quite a few times. First step: write a small script to email some test messages to a few people using php\'s mail() function outside of Geeklog. If they aren\'t going anywhere, then the problem is with your mail server. If they are being received, then your mail server may not like some of the parameters Geeklog is passing to it in particular the person\'s name in the \"to\" address.

So was it a geeklog problem or a mail server problem?
