I\'m using 1.3.8 with the accompanying staticpage plugin. I like the ability to rename the pages. However, I can\'t get the \"URL rewrite\" to work. When I turn it on in config.php, then try to navigate my site I find that 1) the URLs of links do show up as expected, eg http://mysite.com/staticpages/index.php/news-feeds 2) when I click on one of those links, I get an error: Access Denied You must be a registered user to access this page. (And that happens if I\'m logged in or not). Suggestions? Also, does anybody know for sure which robots will crawl the site properly with the dynamic URLs, like http://mysite.com/staticpages/index.php?page=news-feeds In particular, will Google index those pages? For what it\'s worth, I use the siteindex.php file to \"help\" get pages crawled.

Yes Google will find them.

Hmm, are you logged in as Admin or as a normal user at that time? Also, which webserver is your site running on? This feature does not work on IIS, for example.

Looks good ... Notice that geeklog.info uses the version without rewriting, while mypod.de (a bit further down the list) uses rewriting, so both variants are picked up by Google. bye, Dirk

It happens if I\'m admin, or a regular user, or if I\'m not logged in at all. In other words, it always happens. I\'m on Linux running Apache.

Hmm. I remember someone with a similar problem during the rc phase. The final 1.3.8 has a small change in the url rewrite class that seemed to help (or so I think - never got a proper feedback). Are you on 1.3.8 or on one of the Release Candidates? bye, Dirk

I use staticpages and rename the page. No problem for me. I\'ll try to see if I can reproduce.
