I don\'t have a config.php file

confused
I really want to change my settings, but I don\'t seem to have a config.php file. When I upload one, nothing seems to change. What\'s going on?

Well, when I click on the WWW button under your post, I end up on something that suspiciously looks like a working Geeklog site. So I\'m pretty sure you have a config.php because Geeklog sure doesn\'t work without one Wink Your config.php is outside of your document root, i.e. one directory level up from where you would normally copy files that should show up on your website. bye, Dirk

Ahhhhh... I thought it was supposed to be one level up, too, but it wasn\'t. Mr. Server Man was hiding it in another directory. I found it. Thanks!

Well, crap! I just accidently overwrote the config.php file and my website went away. How do I fix that one?

Use your backup. Or enter all the information again. As you just found out, that is a pretty essential file, so you should be careful what you do with it. bye, Dirk
