Moblogging plugin?

Hi, I just read an article about Moblogging, a way to take news reporting to a new edge by adding weblog entries to your system from your cellphone.
The question now would be what would be the best way, considering the different types of cellphones and technologies for interfacing.
So I am asking the community here: What do you think?
How would you solve such a thing?
How to do it so that the authentification is properly done?

From my perspective, it might be an easy way to have a secret email-account to which the moblog-information is sent to form the cellphone. If there would be a plugin that catches this email from within geeklog, it could be automatically inserted into the stories. So each incoming email account would have its own setting as per permissions, topic, user etc, and maybe a setting for the cellphone used to better recognize formats of attachements etc.

It seems there\'s no standard protocol for this but most users simply use email to update their blogs. Tony prototyped an email-to-geeklog gateway back in February, see Sendmail hack demonstratable. It also seems that Blogger clients are available for at least some mobile phones, so the blog plugin is another option. bye, Dirk
