Blocks on Static pages

Is there a way to put individual blocks on static pages, such as a particular poll so that certain polls will show up on certain sections??

No, that\'s not possible.
There\'s a technical problem here: Static Pages are provided by a plugin, but blocks (and polls) don\'t know anything about the plugin. I don\'t see an easy way to overcome this ...
