Morning. Running Redhat on a PC, with 7.2 install * mysql 3.23.55 * PHP 4.3.0 * Apache 1.3.27 Have downloaded GL 1.3.8, and have installed per instructions. Have full access to database (all parms) and have opened webserver wide open (chmod -R 777 *) to try to solve the following problem: After installing and configuring GL, I can get into the site and navigate around. The sample stories, polls, users, topics, etc., are all present. However, when I go to edit one of the sample items (i.e., delete a user, add a new user, etc.), I am returned to the same page. Example: When I go to http://mywebsite/admin/user.php, and click on the \"New User\" button, I am directed to http://mywebsite/admin/user.php?mode=edit, which appears as exactly the same page. Similar things happen with /admin/poll.php and /admin/poll.php?mode=edit, as well as /admin/topic.php and /admin/topic.php?mode=edit. Has anyone else seen this? If so, is there a straightforward way to resolve it? Thanks in advance.

You have register_globals=off but it needs to be on. Not really unusual ... bye, Dirk

Interesting... I did make that change, but in the incorrect location. Big, capital L on my forehead. Thanks!
