I have recently set on eof my sites use the Daily Digest feature. It works well and Im seriously pleased that its available - saves me having to setup a \'newsletter\' for the site.
My problem is this: Is there a way to manually set users to select the option to recieve the email for certain topics? Of course, I know they can go into \'display preferences\' and select the topics themselves, but is there a way I can do it for them?
I have access to phpmyadmin and cant seem to locate any tables that correspond to this option. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks!
Luke

Set the field etids in table gl_userindex to an empty string for all the users that should receive the Daily Digest (the field is set to \'-\' by default).
You can also set
$_CONF[\'emailstoriesperdefault\'] = 1;
in config.php, so that any new users will get the Daily Digest automatically.
I\'d suggest you post note about that somewhere on your site when you do that, though, since some of your users may not like this ...
bye, Dirk
