Can you be more specific than \"it doesn\'t work\"? What is the problem? Can you not download it, can you not unpack it, do you have problems configuring it, ...? bye, Dirk

Quote by Evan (quoting your email):i downloaded it from another computer to mine but now i can\'t open it with out getting error messages.
So you\'ve managed to download it eventually? And you know that you need to use an application like WinRAR to unpack it? WinZIP should, in theory, also work, but some versions seem to corrupt some of the files, so we recommend using WinRAR. bye, Dirk

So you already did unpack the Geeklog tarball? You didn\'t mention that. Please try to be more specific in your posts. \"Install\" is a text file - try opening it in Notepad. Or to spare you that: It will only point you to docs/install.html as the installation instructions. bye, Dirk

Yes, you can install Geeklog in a subdirectory. In that case, you should separate the public_html directory from the rest, so that config.php etc. are not accessible via a URL. The installation instructions will tell you how to do that. bye, Dirk

You don\'t need to be a programmer to set up Geeklog. But that is, of course, your decision. Good luck finding a CMS that doesn\'t require some fiddling with path settings ... bye, Dirk (in case that sounds grumpy - it wasn\'t meant to)
