screwed
Ok - a while ago my host deleted my site due to a hacker messing up the servers. I was pretty pissed because I did not have any recent backups.
What I have done is restore a copy of my v1.3.7sr1 files to FTP and then did a restore of a unknown version database. I ran several upgrades on it to try and get the missing tables in it.
Now I can\'t seem to upgrade to 1.3.8 without getting lots of duplicate columns and a bunch of other errors. What I want to know is; is there a way of making a new 1.3.8 database and then sort of cutting and pasting in the story, user, topic etc. tables? I only have access to mySQL through myPHP.
Or - can anyone think of a way out of this problem?
Steve

You could do that. The main tables for those items havent\' change much. Should be a fairly straight forward transfer.
