Date Problems / GL without locale?
G\'Day!
I can\'t display the date/time within Geeklog in my local language (german), because I don\'t have the rights to set the locale on my hoster\'s server. Is there *ANY* other way to get the date displayed fully in german? I am new to php so you\'d have to explain it patiently or give me something to cut\'n\'paste...
My site is located here
...and you can see the server info here
Thnx in advance for your help!
- Fabian.

Don\'t know for sure but I would think the config.php would handle this. Also you could check out geeklog.info, it\'s in German.

What exactly is your problem with the site?

Geeklog relies on setting the locale. See this FAQ entry on geeklog.info for details.
It\'s possible that your hosting service does not support changing the locale. In that case you\'re out of luck, I\'m afraid.
bye, Dirk
