Help With Install Script
NiteGlo42
Anonymous
I seem to be having some trouble with executing the install script inside my browser. When I call up the URL, all I see is the actual file. There are no instructions or anything. Any idea on what I might be missing or doing wrong?

Yes that\'s what I see. Is there a way I can correct this or is my host using a version that doesn\'t work properly with Geeklog?

I would say your host has the php setup hosed, if they have php at all.
There is file in .../admin/install/info.php which will tell you how php is setup.

I know my host runs PHP for a fact, so them not having it cannot be the problem. I\'ll look into it.

That won\'t help much if PHP isn\'t running
bye, Dirk
I know, but if by chance it did work for this scirpt, I figured I would show the path for the phpinfo script.

I had that issue with my previous server. The web server has to be configured to translate php files into webpages. If you are not running your site on your own server, you need to ask your hostmaster to turn that on.
