After someone creates a story, they are not able to edit it. I have the site set up with 3 different groups, each with access to their own topic. The group access is as follows:
All Users
Logged-in Users
event.submit
link.submit
story.submit
story.edit
Strangely, though, when a user clicks \"edit\", they get the following message, even though the admin>stories page says \"edit\" under access for their story:
You are trying to access a story that you don\'t have rights to. This attempt has been logged. You may view the article in read-only below. Please go back to the story administration screen when you are done.
Other (possibly) relevant information:
I am running the latest version geeklog with the latest forum plugin (2.2RC1).

You need to change the topic permissions. Since topics are (per default) owned by group \"Topic Admin\", users without Topic Admin permissions won\'t be able to edit stories.
You could assign the topics to group \"Logged-in Users\" or to a group that all those users which should be able to edit their stories are in.
bye, Dirk
