Before anything, i double, triple chequed all the paths in config.php, lib-common.php, and even in several other files, just to make sure. I made everything according to the instruccions. Now here is the problem, when i build the database, i create a user, add it to the DB, and then i use his name and pass, along with the DB to configure config.php. Here is the thing, when i go to the www.yourdomain.com/admin/install/install.php and run it, it works ok, and after the 2 step, here is the output: the problem as you can see is that /~somosinv/admin/install/ just before the domain of my site (im using IP becouse its not yet registred at NIC and those are not the real ones ) i've been searching where the error could be, erased completly geeklog, made 3 fresh installs, always the same problem, and i cant seem to find what is causing it... if someone can give me a hand!! thnx in advance

Check your setting for $_CONF['site_admin_url']. The original setting isand should be left like that, unless you need to rename your site's admin directory. bye, Dirk

hi, i see you didnt trusted the double check...!! $_CONF[\'site_admin_url\'] = $_CONF[\'site_url\'] . \'/admin\'; yep, correct! one thing though, -------- $_CONF[\'site_url\'] = \'123.234.123.234/~somosinv/public_html\'; -------- does that look ok? because i had to add the \"public_html\" so it pointed to index.php as the comment sayd.
