Ok, I realize this *should* be simple...and it probably is...but damed if I can figure it out. Where can I change the gray background color on the left side blocks? Oops!

First which theme are you talking about? Because not all themes are gray.

Second, check out the style.css file in that particular theme and look for .block??? and change the color there.

Hope this help.

As Sam already said, that depends a lot on the actual theme you\'re using. If your looking for a way to have a different look for the left and right side blocks, see this thread (which is also linked from the \"Tips and Tricks\" section of Geeklog\'s theme documentation). bye, Dirk

Looks like it\'s this: table bgcolor=\"#E1E2E5\" ... right at the end of the clean theme\'s header.thtml file. bye, Dirk

Where do I change this in the professional theme? I have checked tips and tricks and seem not to find where Block or table bg color need to be changed.

In public_html/layout/professional/style.css file try to change the F7F7F7 value
.block-featured-left {
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #F7F7F7;
border-right: 1px solid #FFFFFF;
color: #000000;
}

Maybe you will also need to make some change in .block-divider and .block-divider-left classes
