ever-refreshing index page

Hey all, I just installed geeklog 1.3.7sr2 today (I know 1.3.8 is out but needed 1.3.7) and whenever I go to my index page, it just keeps refreshing over and over again. The culprit appears to be in the index.php file:

        echo COM_refresh ($_CONF['site_url'] . '/index.php' . $query);
 
Anyone know how to fix it so that it doesn't refresh over and over so I can actually see some content? All my other pages work fine so that's why I think it's the index page itself. Thanks in advance, Kyle
