confused
Hi,

Im having problems with locale in config.php, this is the date/time that shows up in my page:

Text Formatted Code
 martes 02, septiembre 2003 @ 22:26 CDT

when actually it should say:

miercoles 03, septiembre 2003 @ 01:30

as you see, its 3 hours delayed.... and i dont know how to change that.
also, i dont know what the CDT thing is, we dont have changes in our time, i mean, we dont have summer hour and those things, neither east or west.

My config.php locale settings

// +---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
// | LOCALE SETTINGS |
// +---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
$_CONF['language'] = 'spanish';
$_CONF['locale'] = 'es_AR';
$_CONF['date'] = '%A %d, %B %Y @ %H:%M %Z';
$_CONF['daytime'] = '%d/%m %H:%M';
$_CONF['shortdate'] = '%x';
$_CONF['dateonly'] = '%d-%b';
$_CONF['timeonly'] = '%H:%M %Z';
$_CONF['default_charset'] = 'ISO-8859-1';
$_CONF['rdf_language'] = 'es_AR'; // may have to be different than the locale
//-----------------------------------------------

I tryed leaving it blank, but the server where the page is hosted is in USA and i think it takes the locale setting from it, so that doesnt work.

please help!!

Geeklog will always use the timezone of your server. Search for \"timezone hack\" for a possible solution. bye, Dirk
