Restricting Access?

I want to use Geeklog with a tightly restricted group of people, so that only I as admin can add new users. Is there anyway to modify the login block to eliminate the \"Sign up as a New User\" functionality and still have it accessible to the admin?

I found a workaround for this...

If you edit your language file, you can remove the "New User" link like so:

/GeekLog/language/english.php

##Look for the following text:

59 => "Don't have an account yet? Sign up as a New User",

#Replace with the following text (or better yet, comment out that line and add the following line right after or before...):

59 => "",

I assume that if you have multiple languages ou would have to do the same procedure for each language.

This doesn't actually restrict access to the new user page, it just hides the link. Anyone familiar with Geeklog and its paths would be able to get to the new user page and create an account there....
