When I try backing up from Admin, the size of the backup is consistently 4841 Bytes...when I have 2 backups and backup again, it does not list the 3rd backup, only the 2.
THe size should change though - right? and its not changing.
whats wrong?
Also - the 2 backups that are there - show in my backup directory, so by that I know the directory has correct permissions set up.
thanks again
Paul

That\'s not much ... In fact, I doubt that this is a valid backup. Open the file with a text editor and see what it really contains.
Should you find that the supposed \"backup\" does instead contain a list of the mysqldump command line options, then try to remove the -Q
from the mysqldump_option
variable in config.php
bye, Dirk

If you backup within the same day, it will replace the earlier file of that day. Try backup tomorrow, and see you get another file on the list.
