Geeklog Forums

Does anyone know of a short guide to getting sendmail to work with geeklog? I am trying to skim through the O\'reilly book but it\'s a bit daunting. When I try to register someone on my geeklog site it says the email has been sent, but it never arrives. Is there a testing utility in geeklog to see if your sendmail is configured properly? Obviously, I\'ve never used sendmail before. Any help would be appreciated!
