Help! Linking in text post mode

Anonymous

Anonymous
Hi! I've tried to create an entry with HTML code in my blog. However, I've wanted to show the users some HTML code and Geeklog almost buried me alive for it. I've even tried using <pre>, <plaintext> and <xmp>, but Geeklog in principal won't let me use anything that starts with <. Have I mentioned that ANY forum in the world lets you use HTML examples alongside real HTML codes? But, yes, I give up because I know it's for my own site's security. I know I should just use plain text. HOWEVER...what if I want to use a link? How can I create a link in plain text? Please don't tell me to just write the URL and let the users copy it... Thanks a lot, bye!

You're looking for the &amp;#91;code&amp;#93; pseudo-tag.

bye, Dirk
