Hey guys, I have a website going live soon...it\'s not a Geeklog-based website, but GL will be a small portion of it. What I\'m wondering is if there\'s a way to use the GL username/password system to protect other areas of the site from anons? ie. I don\'t want anons streaming/downloading media. The site will not have paid memberships...only freebie sign-ups. It will be pulling about 90-120Gb a month in bandwidth, so I\'d really like to at least have their email addresses if they want access to all the media that will be provided. Is it possible to put a login box on a non-GL page...to use it for sign-ups/sign-ins... and to restrict access to other areas of the site besides the GL part of it? Thanks for your time! noise

I think the \"external pages\" plugin for geeklog is designed to do exactly what you just described. It allows you to integrate GL security features into stand-alone pages. Exaurdon~
