I think im just being stupid here... im not exactly sure whats wrong...

my config.php file says that my site_url is http://deiri87.dyndns.org/blah/blah/blah

it works for peole who are outside my network, but when i want to administrate my GL site INSIDE my network, the images wont load. I nkow its because the pathnames are different.. but what can i do so that my site is viewable in both my local network and wan side??

tia

and what do i do so that instead of having http://deiri87.dyndns.org/path/to/geeklog/
--
i can just have http://deiri87.dyndns.org/

in other words, what do i edit so i dont have to enter all the path names to get to my site?

I dont know the real problem on your server or on your geeklog, but a nice solution can help you a lot with this problem and other ones is set a own dns server on your server. then you can set the same domains and everytink will be like in the outside
