Forum link problem -page doesn't load correctly!!!!

Hi,
I just installed the forum plugin and, realised that the link to the forum didn't appear
in the top menu of the portal page.
I realized that the "plg_menu_elements" wan not part of the header.thtml file of my theme
so, I added it to the menu line.
But after that the page doesn't load correctly.
Why does that happen?
Any help would be appreciated

I don't know - define
doesn't load correctly
Make sure you try the other stock themes as well to rule out a theme issue.

Do you mean that if the forum is correctly installed the "Forum" menu entry should normally appear
on top of theme's page, like the other menu entries?
Cheers

If you have enabled "Registration is required" to view the forum then the user must be a member of a group with the forum.user permission.
Otherwise as installed, the link should appear automatically for all users - including anonymous users.
If not - then check other standard themes. Sometimes the header.thtml has been modified to not show the plugin menu in the header.
