I cheked The forum and I could\'nt find any answer can helpme to fix my problem. I have lot of problems with the width of my site, change with every new new I publish change the width of my site and the theme I like to use. ok theres some themes with the ones I have problems. really I have no Idea how I can fix. I was reading the forum during hours to find nothing in the end. and I like to learn about the sistem and work with it P.D. I translated The language file from geeklog to Catalan I\'ll send it soon (when is completly finished) in the same time Im translating to Catalan as well the forum pluguin. and the last thing I like to ask is how I can translate the Download pluguin I have, is the Filemgmt and when is done I\'ll publish as well. but all this is another world and I\'ll create a new post to explain-it

I\'m not sure I understand what your problem with the width of the site is. Some themes use a fixed width (e.g. XSilver), other use a fixed minimum width (e.g. Clean), and others don\'t set a width at all. However, you can alway create a story that makes your site even wider, e.g. by including an image or some code with non-breaking lines - that\'s the way HTML works and until there\'s better support for CSS features such as max-width (if that\'s the name - not quite sure at the moment), there\' not much you can do about it. Other than avoiding these things. And if that didn\'t answer your question, please try to rephrase it. bye, Dirk

Thanks a lot for the answer. This solved a few doubts I had. I use the theme white_pointer as default and I completed the files left in this theme with the original Xsilver theme and the header is from another theme as well. but this generated another question.. theres some way to have a fix size for the news? I mean wich files I must modify or check or ad som code to have a fix size?
