Chatterblock 3.0 Help

I just succesfully installed Chatterblock 3.0 - but I am getting this error and I had no idea why. (very new to geeklog user)
Error in PHP Block. Function, phpblock_chatterblock, does not exist.
Now I thought I had it figured out and put the function code from function.inc into lib-custom. Now i get the following error:
1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'WHERE uid = '2'' at line 1
I am lost! What am I doing wrong here? Please help....

Two things:
1) Please post the corresponding error from Geeklog's error.log, as that will include the complete SQL request that caused the problem and will give anyone who's familiar with the Chatterblock (not me, though ...) a better chance to track the problem down.
2) The fact that you still get an SQL error displayed in the browser shows that you didn't install the recent security upgrade. Please do that, it's in your own interest.
bye, Dirk
