in installation "Geeklog Database Settings (Step 2 of 2)" right when i click next im getting a "An SQL error has occured. Please see error.log for details." so i check my error.log file & theres nothing there.

(running windows xp pro sp1)
Steps i did:
-install FoxServ 3.0 (Apache / mySQL / PHP installer)
-extracted everything in public_html dir to C:\FoxServ\www
-& extraced the rest into dir C:\FoxServ\geeklog
-then edited config.php & lib-common.php (with notepad) to set the correct paths.
-used WinMySQLAdmin to make my empty database "geeklog"
-used the check.php & everything comes up good.
-then use install.php
Installation Type: New Database
Path to Geeklog: C:/FoxServ/geeklog
-click next & next again then get that msg above
-so i open C:FoxServgeekloglogserror.log & theres nothing there (*** dummy entry ***)
-i open up WinMySQLAdmin & check my database & geeklog installation created 39 tables

not sure what i did wrong or what 2 do next, any ideas Question

k, i removed everything then reinstalled it all again,
after i click next on the "Geeklog Database Settings (Step 2 of 2)" page i get http://www.example.com/admin/install/success.php
it creates 39 tables like b4 but when viewning the success.php im getting the HTTP 404 Not Found.
why is it www.example.com ?? is there something i miss 2 edit?
did it install correctly?

you have to open config.php and edit the line that reads

$_CONF['site_url'] = 'http://www.example.com';

and replace www.example.com with the domain name (or subdomain and domain). for example, if my site were samurai.net, i would replace it to read:

$_CONF['site_url'] = 'http://www.samurai.net';

i assume that you have a domain registered and are not trying to do it with your ip address alone. if you are trying to do it with the ip address (because you have a dynamic ip) then try dinding a dynamicdns solution (many out there, search woth google).
