How can I find the url for topic? If I need the topic block, what do I do to get it back? I deleted the topic block.

The URL is always index.php?topic=topicid

How did you manage to do that? You can't delete blocks of type "gldefault".

If it's really gone from the database (and not just inactive) you will need to issue the SQL request below:

INSERT INTO gl_blocks (name, type, title, tid, block
order, content, rdfurl, rdfupdated, onleft, phpblockfn, group_id, owner_id, perm_owner, perm_group, perm_members, perm_anon) VALUES 'section_block', 'gldefault', 'Topics', 'all', 0, '', '', '0000-00-00 00:00:00', 1, '', 1, 2, 3, 3, 2, 2);

bye, Dirk

Copy and paste everything from INSERT up until the closing semicolon into an SQL entry field in phpMyAdmin, if you have that.

And I still would like to know how you managed to delete the block in the first place.

bye, Dirk
