My site is hosted and I obviously do not have root access to the box. My username on the box is "webmaster". Whenever GL does a DB backup, or accepts a uploaded file (using the filemgmt plugin) it writes the file to disk with the uid and gid of 48. On my backup files, the perms are 755 and on the filemgmt plugin, the files are written as 600. I have to have my hosting admin chown the files to webmaster:webmaster so I can deal with them. Is there any way to fix this issue so I don't have to keep sending support requests to my hosting provider? Frown
