Hello all,
I have been in the process of moving my Geeklog site to a newer server. It all went well except that when I restore my geeklog database, I get online users, which are alway online. The server is not accessable for my users, so they cannot be online.
How do I remove them from being online?
Is this something that happens to everyone?
I did a manual mysqldump of the Geeklog database, not the backup function.
Best Regards,
Rick

Additional info:
The backup function does not seem to work. I get backup files that are 4837 bytes everytime. It says it is a sql file, but it is only a text file and no tables.
Therefore I do the dump manually.

Try clearing the gl_sessions table.

No, haven't seen this before.

So what does that text say? It could be an error message.

Thanks Dirk!
I emptied the gl_sessions table and it works now.
Contents of the backup sql file:
/usr/bin/mysqldump Ver 8.16 Distrib 3.23.47, for pc-linux-gnu (i686)

OR /usr/bin/mysqldump [OPTIONS] --databases [OPTIONS] DB1 [DB2 DB3...]
OR /usr/bin/mysqldump [OPTIONS] --all-databases [OPTIONS]
-A, --all-databases Dump all the databases. This will be same as
--databases with all databases selected.

The -Q worked.
However, I lost all my privalages for Admin. I cannot add or change anything anymore. I am not sure if it is because of the -Q or what.
Can you tell me where I can look to enable that again? I cannot not even enter the users information.
Nothing is in the log at all.
Regards
Rick
