installation error with path
i was trying to install in a subdirectory. previously i installed it there ...with the public_html directory .. so everytime i tried to enter the site .. i had to add the "public_html" in the url ..
next i tried to install again .. i copied all the stuffs from the "public_html" folder to the root directory .. and changed the path accordingly in te "config.php" and in "lib-common.php"
but now when i try to install .. it fails to locate the config.php even thou i entered the right path
help :s .. anyone ??

Hehe, well I had a similar problem to you, only I went through this the hard way and wasted a day finding another error a bit later on.
Try copy pasting all of the files in the directory public_html into the rootfolder of your website. Change the path to config.php to /config.php relative to the origonal directory.
There is also a section manually that you have to change in config.php to do with the login name and pass specified to access the database. Use phpmyadmin to add a user, and plug the username and password information into these fields.
Sorry if you knew that already, but its how I went about it.
Now I have a problem where lib-config.php is 'corrupt', which is absolutely bullshit because I only edited it with simple text editors and extracted with winRa. That part Im confused about, just try copy paste into the main dir n' see if that works.
