how do i "----, drop the database and create a new, empty database before trying to run the install script again.:"

i thing ive done this multiple times and keep getting the same 1050: Table 'gl_access' already exists

i have looked fo a solution but cant't find any here

Do you have phpMyAdmin for MySQL installed? You can use this to drop all the GL tables from your database. There are other tools you can run from your client such as MySQL Control for Windows.

well i got the success page but i got this error.checkign the forums suggested a $_CONF['path_html'] but i checked and my paths seem to be straight.

im still stuck

Sounds like this guy and one other guy i read here, are having the same 1050 errors, but they get little assistance.

i also suggest much better examples in the config.php script.

i am trying to get access to my myphpadmin at my server. apparently i am not permitted in yet.
