img tag problems

I have run a geeklog powered site for a few months without any trouble. If I had a problem or a question, it was easy to find the solution here. But I think I need a second opinion as to what I am doing wrong.
I have had img tags enabled on my personal site for quite some time without any issues. GL ver 1.3.7sr2. I the last few days I have setup another domain for the reunion association of the ship I served on in the Navy. It is using the GL ver 1.3.8-1sr2. I have tried enabling img tags for admins but to no avail. The tags just show up. No image. I noticed the many changes to the config.php and searched the forum for where the changes need to be made to enable img tags. I changed the values noted in this post, but the tags are still not being read.
To make the changes, I SSH into the server and edit the file using Pico. Is there an issue with this editor I should be aware of? I also use EditPlus for offline changes.
This is what the section of my config.php looks like:
$_CONF['admin_html'] = array (
'img' => array('src' => 1, 'alt' =>1, 'align' =>1),
'p' => array('class' => 1, 'id' => 1, 'align' => 1),
'div' => array('class' => 1, 'id' => 1),
'span' => array('class' => 1, 'id' => 1),
'table' => array('class' => 1, 'id' => 1, 'width' => 1, 'border' => 1,
'cellspacing' => 1, 'cellpadding' => 1),
'tr' => array('class' => 1, 'id' => 1, 'align' => 1, 'valign' => 1),
'th' => array('class' => 1, 'id' => 1, 'align' => 1, 'valign' => 1,
'colspan' => 1, 'rowspan' => 1),
'td' => array('class' => 1, 'id' => 1, 'align' => 1, 'valign' => 1,
'colspan' => 1, 'rowspan' => 1)
);
As far as I can tell, it should work. Maybe I missed something. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks - Meat

You say the tags are showing up? That means the HTML parser isn't stripping them out, which is good. Can you get the HTML to a page where the tags are being shown and post that here? Or better yet, just link to the page.

OH SWEET FRIGGIN JEEBUS!
Thanks for pointing that out. I'm a dumbass.
WHAM WHAM WHAM goes the head on the desk.
It's fixed. I set the default to html instead of text on my personal site and never got into the habit of cheking that. Post mode is now html default. Again, please excuse my dumbassedness and thanks for your help.
